This species is found in southwestern Madagascar. Currently known only from the Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park region, north of the Onilahy River and south of the Fiherena River. Additional surveys are needed to determine the northern, western and eastern boundaries of the range. The extent of occurrence (EOO) is estimated to be less than 2,600 km.
