About The Madagascar Cat-eyed Snake

This snake is endemic to Madagascar where it is distributed mainly in the arid southwest of the island, but it also occurs as far inland as the high plateau (e.g., Antoetra, Andringitra, Ranomafana) (H. Rakotondravony and M. Vences pers. comms. January 2011), an area of nearly 205,000 km.
