: The ferry from Bali to Java seemed to take forever, despite the short distance. Then, we were in the java traffic jam for a bit to get to the edge of the park. We went in for the afternoon, and there were all kinds of deer fighting with each other as well as crazy monkeys.
That night, there was an event in the town with some dancing shows and food. Everyone in town got a selfie with us, I think.

: We got off to an early start to try and be in place for photos when the light was best. On the way into the park, there was a Banteng on the road, a rare sighting in this park. Amazingly, this huge mammal melted into the forest before I could get any photos.
After this, the driver put the petal to the metal to make up time. It felt like we were going to fast, and to that point, we smashed into a green junglefowl on the road. The previous day, this same driver said they always get out of the way...
Funny thing, there were not really any great photos at the early morning spot.
After the early morning, we went for a hike into the mangroves. This involved a lot of bugs and also a lot of mud. There were also a few thorny plants in the mix.
