Visits

  • 2026-01-26: We were able to find a rideshare to arrive in the Mae Klung village for a couple of nights. This day was spent around the town where there was a good variety of birds.
  • 2026-01-27: We hired a guy from the local village to drive us on Doi Inthanon. We started by seeing the sunrise from a viewpoint near the top of the mountain. We walked around on some trails around the top before heading back to Mae Klang.
  • 2026-01-28: We went back up to the top to try and find some birds missed the previous day. While we were walking on the side of the road, some angry police came on a motorbike and accused us of flying drones around the Thai princess. Fortunately, we did not have any drones.
