Visits
- 2001-06-03: Near the beginning of our eclipse trip, we camped at the excellent Maramba River Lodge
- 2002-12-01: We arrived in Livingstone for our second trip to Mosi Oa Tunya (Victoria Falls). Our previous trip was during the rainy season, and the falls were roaring, full of water. This time, the dry season had turned the one giant waterfall into a series of much smaller cascades. The really cool thing about the dry season, however, is that we were able to walk out into the middle of the Zambezi river where there is a pool allowing you to swim right up to the precipice of the waterfall. Tourists on the Zimbabwe side of the falls seemed shocked to see us there.
