Gwaai Haanas National Park, Canada (Center on Interactive Map)

Gwaii Haanas is a group of Pacific Islands off the coast of British Columbia. The national park is mostly covered by old growth cedars, spruce, pines, and aspen.

Queen Charlotte Islands

6/20/2004: This was an 8 day kayaking trip around a couple of the islands in the northern part of the park. The weather was clear and warm in the beginning. By the last two days of the trip, it had become a little foggy just in time for the visit to the hot springs.
