2004-01-16: We flew into Canaima on a Cesna airplane. It was comforting to see several burned airplanes lining the verges of the runway. We arranged a boat trip to the falls which was pretty hairy in its own right. A couple of days later, we caught our charter Cesna toward Roraima in the southeast.
