Visits
- 2012-01-08: We took the ferry and boat combo from Stewart Island to Queenstown in order to pick up our rental car. Queenstown is the kind of place that would be really great had you just returned from an epic hike in the third world jungle. There are many restaurants and roving bands of newly minted drinkers. On its own merits, however, I found it a place barely worth a one night stop despite the nice scenery. I was quite annoyed to spend $10 on disk rentals for disk golf only to find that half of the course was missing.
