Trips
Colombia
2/6/2023
: We arrived at the park after fighting traffic for a few hours. We were given the instructions to walk to the refugio to get the key. At first, we thought we would be staying on the top, but after walking a long way downhill, we realized that the cabin that we had rented for the night was on the bottom of the hill. So, that meant walking back up to our car to get our stuff. The walk back to the refugio was very far down a steep hill, but it was very scenic when we got there.

: We walked around near the Refugio with Alejandro, a guide from Bogota. With a flight looming later in the afternoon, we were not taking any chances with walking back up the giant hill, but fortunately, there was a vehicle to drive us to the top. The drive back to the airport was a bit easier than the trip out of Bogota.
