Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus)

The African Queen is widespread in the Old World tropics, ranging from West Africa to Indonesia. Throughout much of its range it occurs in a number of sympatric polymorphic forms. It is replaced in Australia by D. petilia, raised to specific status by Lushai et al. (2005).
