Actenoides princeps (including
A. p. erythrorhamphus) inhabits central and south-western Sulawesi,
Indonesia (Fry and Fry 1999, del Hoyo
et al. 2001). Likely to be under-recorded due to its inconspicuous habits (Fry and Fry 1999).
