Chad,
Sudan,
Eritrea,
Ethiopia,
Somalia,
Kenya,
Tanzania,
Saudi Arabia,
Yemen,
Oman, the
United Arab Emirates,
Iran,
Pakistan and
India. The subspecies
floweri, endemic to central
Egypt, was last seen in 1979 and is probably extinct (del Hoyo
et al. 1997).
