Visits
- 2010-02-17: We arrived on a side trip, traveling from Morelia to Patzcuaro in a steady drizzling rain. The taxi driver took us to the top of the Salto Santa Paula where we walked around in some suburbs and orchards looking for the russet-crowned motmot. There did seem to be a lot of birds in the area although I did not think this area was really worth a special effort. Later, we tried to walk up to the waterfall. The creek was swollen due to the rains, however, and we did not make it to the base of the falls.
