Trips

Japan

3/2/2024: We started our last day in Japan riding the JR line and subway to the west of Tokyo Station around the Fuchu area. Our friend who lives in Tokyo was very surprised by this choice as no tourists ever go there. We walked around for a bit in freezing cold until we reached the monorail station. We continued on to Harajuku which was very crowded and annoying. Finally, we took the JR line back to the river to walk a different stretch.

On the way to the airport, Barbara's rail pass got stuck in the machine. We somehow barely managed to make it on time for our train to the airport.
